Augmenting Columbia Center’s iconic presence as the tallest building in Seattle, the new lighting scheme on the top of the building artfully changes the city skyline to recognize holidays and noteworthy occasions.
The new lighting scheme allows for nightly color changes depending on the date, and also features animations tied to events like a Mariners’ home run or a Seahawks touchdown. Additionally, a special animation runs around the lights every hour on the hour, turning the building into a digital clock that Seattleites can see from around the city.
